We're celebrating Calgary Pride 2018: Unity in Uniform

Pride is a time to celebrate LGBTQ2+ diversity at our Work Nicer community and with our greater community.

Join us as we kick off the Calgary Pride 2018 with Unity in Uniform. There’ll be food, live entertainment and an opportunity to support our LGBTQ2+ friends and service people as allies.

What is Unity in Uniform?

Unity in Uniform is in its second year and is a unique celebration that brings together the LGBTQ2+ community with its allies, including uniformed Calgary Police Officers and Canadian Armed Forces.

The Deets

We are moving Drink Nicer over to our official pride party, Unity in Uniform, on Friday, August 31, 2018, at our friends: Bank and Baron Pub at 5 pm. Check out the event's official Facebook Event here.

We are about supporting our community and all its forms. Through Unity in Uniform, we encourage those who attend this FREE event, to donate a suggested $20 donation at the door, with all proceeds going to the Rainbow Railroad Station, a Calgary-based organization who sponsors LGBTQ2+  refugees fleeing persecution from countries where homosexuality is illegal.

Thank you Unity in Uniform

We're grateful for the opportunity to be the official sponsor of this community-building event, and support its founder, Gregory John, who through his company, Four Peaks Business Development Ltd., creates opportunities for communities to come together with purpose and impact.

We look forward to celebrating and connecting!
